Responsibilities include enabling CI/CD pipelines, implementing IaC, and ensuring high availability and cost efficiency across subscriptions while collaborating with DevOps and application teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Administration with a focus on Azure PaaS.
• Strong knowledge of Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Functions, AKS and API Management.
• Hands-on with IaC tools such as ARM, Bicep or Terraform.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting with PowerShell, Azure CLI or Python.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of Azure Security & Compliance (RBAC, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud).

We are looking for a Cloud PaaS Administrator with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure to manage and optimize our Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) infrastructure. This role requires hands‑on experience with Azure services, automation, security, and monitoring, with a minimal focus on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

PaaS Administration & Optimization

• Manage and maintain Azure PaaS services such as App Services, Azure SQL, Functions, Kubernetes Service (AKS), Logic Apps, and API Management.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of PaaS-based workloads.
• Optimize cost management and resource utilization across Azure subscriptions.

Deployment & Automation

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Automate provisioning, scaling, and deployments using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or PowerShell.
• Work closely with DevOps and application teams to enable CI/CD pipelines for PaaS services.

Security & Compliance

• Enforce Azure security best practices, including Managed Identity, RBAC, Key Vault, and Defender for Cloud.
• Ensure compliance with governance policies, monitor security posture, and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Set up and manage Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for proactive monitoring.
• Troubleshoot and resolve PaaS-related incidents, optimizing performance and availability.
• Work closely with application teams, cloud architects, and security engineers to support Azure-based solutions.
• Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, policies, and troubleshooting guides.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Administration, with a primary focus on Azure PaaS services.
• Strong knowledge of Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Functions, Kubernetes (AKS), and API Management.
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Proficiency in automation & scripting using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub Actions for deployment automation.
• Understanding of Azure Security & Compliance best practices (RBAC, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud).
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills for PaaS-based applications.
• Familiarity with AWS (optional), but Azure expertise is the priority.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305)
• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
