Job summary

Sourcebae is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect in Pune, India, to design, modernize, and optimize enterprise-scale cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of cloud architecture experience and hands-on skills with Azure services. Responsibilities will include leading migrations, defining governance frameworks, and ensuring compliance with security standards. Preferably, you should hold Azure certifications and have a strong understanding of Terraform and cloud security.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture with strong Azure expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services including AKS, App Services, Functions, and more.
• Experience with Azure Landing Zones and governance.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to design, modernize, and optimize enterprise‑scale cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, governance, security, automation, and modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable Azure cloud solutions across compute, networking, storage, and security.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and cloud‑native transformation initiatives.
• Define Azure Landing Zones, governance frameworks, RBAC, and identity architecture.
• Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and application teams to deliver integrated cloud solutions.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep/ARM) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct cloud assessments, cost optimization, and performance tuning.
• Ensure compliance with security and enterprise governance standards.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture with strong Azure expertise.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure services: AKS, App Services, Functions, Storage, VNETs, Key Vault, API Management, Monitor, Defender, etc.
• Experience with Azure Landing Zones, AAD/Entra ID, RBAC, and governance.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and cost optimization.
• Azure Certifications (AZ‑305, AZ‑104, AZ‑400) preferred.

Nice to Have

• Hybrid cloud and Azure Arc experience.
• Knowledge of Azure SQL, Synapse, or Databricks.
• Experience with microservices and application modernization.
