Job summary

Insurity is seeking a Cloud Operations Manager in India to lead a high‑impact team responsible for driving cloud infrastructure initiatives from planning through delivery.

This hands‑on management role requires understanding existing Cloud Operations processes, enabling transformation, and delivering measurable outcomes across security, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
  • Strong hands‑on cloud infrastructure knowledge and experience in public cloud operations (Azure/AWS).
  • Proven ability to lead a small team while remaining hands‑on in delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a high‑performing team responsible for cloud infrastructure initiatives.
  • Hire, onboard, and retain exceptional talent.
  • Set and track departmental goals; ensure delivery against plan.
  • Promote company policies and development processes.
  • Manage financials and communicate KPIs to leadership.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen Insurity’s public cloud environments.

Insurity’s Next Cloud Operations Manager

Insurity is seeking a Cloud Operations Manager in India to lead a small, high-impact team responsible for driving cloud infrastructure initiatives from planning through delivery. This is a hands‑on management role for someone who can quickly understand existing Cloud Operations processes, products, and delivery models, then use that knowledge to accelerate transformation across key operational areas. The person in this role will help build team capability, remove delivery obstacles, and lead projects that strengthen Insurity’s public cloud environments, with a focus on operational excellence, accountability, and measurable outcomes.

What Our Cloud Operations Manager Will Do
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a high‑performing, highly engaged team of individual contributors, typically performing similar functions
  • Interview, hire, onboard, and retain exceptional talent
  • Provide input to departmental goals and ensure goals are met
  • Adopt and reinforce company policies, processes, and programs
  • Lead team members using the company’s performance management and development process
  • Support a culture that emphasizes the strategy, guiding principles and core values
  • Communicate effectively & regularly with team members, peers, and leaders
  • Manage financial responsibilities and activities
  • Develop and maintain trusted customer relationships
  • Effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive utilization across team
  • Communicate financial and goal results, and KPIs to direct reports
  • Perform tasks as an individual contributor to support the team as needed
Who We’re Looking For
  • Strong hands‑on cloud infrastructure knowledge, with practical experience in public cloud operations and cloud‑native services (Azure and AWS).
  • Demonstrated project delivery and coordination skills, including planning, prioritization and execution in a cloud operations environment.
  • Ability to manage, coach and lead a small team while remaining close to the work, balancing people leadership with direct involvement in delivery.
  • Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills, with the ability to assess risk, solve problems, and make sound operational decisions.
  • Clear written and verbal English communication, including stakeholder updates, cross‑team coordination, and executive‑ready status reporting.
  • Experience with change management, incident management, operational processes and continuous improvement in a production environment.
  • Working knowledge of cloud security practices, infrastructure design concepts, and operational controls in public cloud environments.
  • Strong organizational skills, including time‑management, multitasking and the ability to work effectively across multiple priorities.
  • Comfort working across teams and functions, building relationships, and aligning internal and external contributors toward a common outcome.
  • Experience with automation, process standardization or scripting.
  • Recommended 5 of years of experience in working hands on in a public cloud environment and or managing people
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
