Job summary

SHI Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad is seeking a skilled Cloud Network Engineer to join our Cloud Delivery team.

You will design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize secure cloud networking across AWS and hybrid environments. Responsibilities include deploying firewalls (Cisco Secure Firewall, Fortinet FortiGate, AWS/Azure Firewall), configuring VPNs, BGP, SD-WAN, VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, and Load Balancers, while enforcing Zero Trust and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Network Engineer or similar role.
• Hands-on with AWS networking services, enterprise firewalls, and VPN technologies.
• Certs such as AWS Network Specialty, Fortinet NSE, or Cisco CCNP Security are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage secure networking architectures on Amazon Web Services.
• Configure and troubleshoot VPN, IPSec, BGP, SD-WAN, and routing protocols.
• Deploy and manage Cisco Secure Firewall, Fortinet FortiGate, AWS Firewall, and Azure Firewall.
• Implement hybrid connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments.
• Support AWS networking services including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, and Load Balancers.
• Perform firewall policy management, traffic analysis, and security optimization.
• Implement Zero Trust security principles and segmentation strategies.
• Collaborate with delivery and architecture teams during onboarding and migrations.
• Create technical documentation, SOPs, and deployment guides.

Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Cloud Network Engineer to join our Cloud Delivery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and optimizing secure cloud networking environments across AWS and hybrid infrastructures. This role requires expertise in cloud networking, enterprise firewalls, VPN technologies, routing protocols, and security architecture.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage secure networking architectures on Amazon Web Services
• Configure and troubleshoot- VPN, IPSec, BGP, SDWAN, Routing Protocols
• Deploy and manage - Cisco Secure Firewall, Fortinet FortiGate, AWS Firewall, Azure Firewall
• Implement hybrid connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments
• Support AWS networking services including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, Load Balancers, Network Firewall
• Perform firewall policy management, traffic analysis, and security optimization
• Implement Zero Trust security principles and segmentation strategies
• Support Linux-based systems for network and security operations
• Participate in incident troubleshooting, RCA, and operational escalations
• Collaborate with delivery and architecture teams during customer onboarding and migrations
• Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and best practices
• Create technical documentation, SOPs, and deployment guides

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience working as a Cloud Network Engineer or related role
• Proficiency in cloud network engineering, AWS, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, Load Balancers (ALB/NLB), Hybrid Cloud, TCP/IP, SD-WAN, Fortinet, FortiGate, Firewall Policies, Zero Trust, IPsec VPN, Cloud Networking
• Hands‑on experience with AWS networking services, enterprise firewalls, and VPN technologies
• Strong understanding of routing protocols and security architecture
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Network Specialty, Fortinet Network Security, or Cisco CCNP Security is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
