Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer in India to design, deploy, automate, and support large-scale cloud infrastructure and container platforms. You will work across OpenStack and Kubernetes, implementing automation with Ansible and shell scripting while ensuring high availability and performance.

The role requires hands-on experience with OpenStack components, Docker, CI/CD tooling, and cloud upgrades.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, deploying and supporting large-scale cloud infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of OpenStack components and container platforms.
• Experience with automation tooling and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage OpenStack cloud platforms.
• Administer OpenStack components such as Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, Glance, and Horizon.
• Design and support Kubernetes/OpenShift container platforms.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks using Ansible and Shell scripting.
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Perform cloud upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, storage, and application teams.
• Support CI/CD and cloud automation initiatives.
• Monitor platform health and resolve production issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
