Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to design, deploy and operate OpenStack and Kubernetes based cloud platforms. You will drive automation, reliability and scale across large environments, using Ansible, Bash scripting and container technologies.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, networking and storage teams to deliver resilient cloud services, support CI/CD initiatives and create clear runbooks and documentation for production operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on design, deployment, and operation of large-scale OpenStack and Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with Ansible and Shell scripting for automation.
• Strong Linux administration and containerization with Docker.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage OpenStack cloud platforms.
• Administer OpenStack components such as Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, Glance, Horizon.
• Design and support Kubernetes/OpenShift container platforms.
• Automate provisioning and operations with Ansible and shell scripts.
• Manage container workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Perform cloud upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Collaborate with infra, networking, storage, and apps teams.
• Support CI/CD and cloud automation initiatives.
• Monitor platform health and resolve production issues.
• Create and maintain technical docs and SOPs.
