Job summary

Insight is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer III to engage with clients as a technical solution specialist and design/develop solutions. You will provide technical leadership from kickoff through UAT and go-live for hosted and remotely managed projects.

Expect to automate builds, drive architecture discussions, and ensure security and compliance. The role requires hands-on experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud IaaS/PaaS, plus scripting skills across Python and Azure CLI.

Qualifications

• Proven Cloud Infrastructure with IaaS & PaaS.
• Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes expertise.
• Strong Terraform experience with modules and remote backends.
• Scripting with ARM templates, Terraform, Python, PowerShell, or Azure CLI.

Responsibilities

• Automate builds and deployments with GIT, Azure DevOps, AWS pipelines, Jenkins.
• Identify production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Participate in designing Azure IAAS/PAAS architecture.
• Lead cloud security, privacy, and compliance decisions for scale and HA/DR.

About The Role

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer/ Cloud Engineer III, you will be responsible for engaging with clients as a technical solution specialist and design/develop solutions based on requirement. We will count on you to provide technical leadership and ownership from project kick off through UAT and go-live for hosted and remotely managed customer projects. Along the way, you will get to:

• Automate builds and deployments with tools like GIT, Azure DevOps, AWS pipelines, Jenkins.
• Identify production issues and performing root cause analysis to detect errors
• Participate in designing architecture for Azure IAAS, PAAS Services.
• Drive architecture and technical discussion lead cloud security, privacy, and compliance decisions scale, performance, agility, HA/DR considerations.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS & PaaS) along with DevOps tools with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
• Proven experience in Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GIT.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Terraform (modules, state management, remote backends, CI integration).
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and scripting languages (e.g., ARM templates, Terraform, Python, PowerShell, Azure CLI).
