Synoptek invites a Cloud Engineer I to join its expanding India team, with a focus on cloud-based infrastructure and applications. The role provides hands-on exposure to Azure and AWS, including deployment, configuration, monitoring, and basic scripting under senior guidance.

You will contribute to cost estimation, security reviews, and infrastructure documentation while learning cloud best practices and modern automation techniques.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related discipline.
• Willingness to pursue certifications and learn independently.
• Azure Fundamentals or similar cloud projects preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist with the setup and configuration of cloud resources including virtual machines, storage accounts, and resource groups.
• Support infrastructure provisioning using Azure Portal, Azure CLI, or PowerShell.
• Document technical configurations, deployment steps, and architecture components.
• Assist in creating cloud cost estimates using tools such as Azure Pricing Calculator under supervision.
• Monitor deployed cloud environments using Azure Monitor or equivalent tools.
• Contribute to basic scripting and automation tasks using Bash, PowerShell, or related tools.
• Participate in security and compliance checklist reviews under senior guidance.
• Help research high availability and disaster recovery strategies and document findings.
• Stay updated with cloud best practices, Microsoft Learn modules, and platform learning resources.

• Support basic troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, and deployment-related issues.
• Participate in team stand‑ups, project coordination activities, and technical learning sessions.
• Follow established cloud deployment processes, documentation standards, and operational procedures.

The Cloud Engineer I is responsible for supporting cloud-based infrastructure deployment, configuration, monitoring, documentation, and basic troubleshooting activities within Azure or AWS ecosystems. This role works under the guidance of senior cloud engineers and architects to assist with technical requirement gathering, cloud resource provisioning, scripting, infrastructure documentation, migration support, security reviews, and compliance activities. The position provides hands‑on exposure to enterprise cloud environments, cloud security standards, deployment processes, automation tools, and infrastructure‑as‑code practices while building foundational cloud engineering expertise.

Education Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required. Willingness to pursue certifications and learn independently is required.
