Workmates Core2Cloud Solution Ltd is seeking a Cloud Engineer–DevOps to design, deploy, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role focuses on high availability, security, and automation across development and production environments.

The candidate will design and deploy cloud infra, monitor costs and performance, and optimize pipelines with tools like Terraform, Jenkins, and Kubernetes. Strong scripting and security practices are required for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineer–DevOps, DevOps or SRE roles or cloud engineering.
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional preferred.
• Hands-on containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS) and scripting languages (Python, Bash).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Monitor and optimize AWS infrastructure for performance, cost, and security with automated monitoring and alerts.
• Analyze manual processes to identify automation opportunities and improve efficiency.
• Create and execute scalable CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, CodePipeline, CodeBuild).
• Deploy, maintain, and manage AWS production systems ensuring availability, security, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Debug and resolve issues related to DevOps processes, infrastructure, and performance.

The Cloud Engineer–DevOps designs, sets up, and operates scalable cloudinfrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This position maintains high availability,security, and automation in development and production environments whileworking with cross-functional teams to streamline deployment workflows.

B. Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, andoperatecloudinfrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)withIaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Monitor and optimize AWS infrastructure for performance,cost, and security, implementing automated monitoring and alerting systems.

• Create and execute scalable continuous integration andcontinuous delivery pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, CodePipeline, CodeBuild).
• Streamlinebuild, test, anddeploymentproceduresforvariousapplications andenvironments .
• Deploy, maintain, and manage AWS production systems,ensuring availability, reliability, security, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservicesusing high-level programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Work with relational (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL, RDS) andnon-relational (e.g., MongoDB, ElastiCache) databases.
• Collaborate with software developers, designers, productmanagers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technicalsolutions.
• Debug and resolve technical issues related to DevOpsprocesses, infrastructure, and application performance.
• Identify and address bottlenecks, performance issues,and security vulnerabilities, recommending effective solutions.

C. Qualifications andWork Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, InformationTechnology, orrelated field.
• 5 + yearsof experienceworkingin Cloud Engineer–DevOps , DevOpsor SRE roles or cloud engineering .
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS CertifiedDevOps Engineer – Professional certification (preferred).
• Hands-oncontainerization (e.g., Docker, ECS, EKS)and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)experience.

Technical:

• Excellentskillsin cloud services, Infrastructure as Code tools , CI/CD tools , Docker, and Kubernetes .
• Advanced scripting (Python/Bash) andautomationcapabilities.
• Networking, security, and databasemanagementknowledge .
• Goodtroubleshooting and debugging skills in Linuxenvironments.
• Goodcommunication, documentation, andcollaboration skills.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools(Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) .

• Proficiency in Python scripting/automation (boto3, automation frameworks).
