Job summary

Xetech Solutions Ltd. in India seeks an experienced Cloud Engineer to manage and optimize Microsoft Azure environments. The role focuses on administering Azure services, identity and access, and security monitoring across enterprise workloads.

The candidate will work with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, cost-efficiency, and compliance using Azure Defender, Sentinel, and Purview. Immediate joiners are preferable and cloud certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Azure administration experience.
• Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, MFA and RBAC.
• Experience managing Azure infrastructure (VMs, networking, storage, monitoring).
• Cloud certifications are an added advantage.
• Immediate joiners are preferable.

Role & responsibilities:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure administration and cloud services.
• Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, MFA, and RBAC
• Experience managing Azure infrastructure, including VMs, networking, storage, and monitoring
• Implement and monitor Azure security best practices, including Defender for Endpoint and Azure Policies.
• Administer and configure Azure Active Directory (Az AD) for identity and access management.
• Set up and manage Microsoft Sentinel for security event monitoring and response.
• Govern data using Microsoft Purview for compliance and classification.
• Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and cost optimization across Azure resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud architecture and operations.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skill
• Should be able to handle client communication
• 610 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously enhance cloud expertise.
• Relevant cloud certifications are an added advantage.
