Job summary

Acesoft Labs is seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to support security and compliance across Azure and GCP environments. You will drive cloud security controls, automation, and CSPM tooling while collaborating with IT teams.

The role demands hands-on experience with security tooling, incident response, and cross-functional communication to maintain a strong security posture across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in cloud security engineering and compliance.
• Hands-on Azure and GCP cloud security expertise.
• Experience with Windows/Linux/Mac security exposure.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and security controls.
• Proven ability to work with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand & apply Sony cloud security standards.
• Identify and remediate cloud misconfigurations using Azure/GCP CSPM tools.
• Automate remediation via scripts and services.
• Collaborate with Cloud, App & Security teams for consistent security posture.
• Perform root-cause analysis & implement preventive controls
• Conduct POCs for cloud security tools
• Maintain documentation, runbooks & remediation guidelines
• Participate in cloud security meetings and scrums

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to support engineering and operations of cloud security and compliance across Azure and GCP environments. The ideal candidate will be skilled in cloud security controls, automation, CSPM tools, and collaboration with multi-functional IT teams.

Must-Have Skills

• 6+ years in cloud security engineering & compliance
• Azure & GCP cloud security expertise
• Windows / Linux / Mac OS security exposure
• Endpoint security tools knowledge
• Networking security fundamentals Security Groups, NACLs, routing, switching, proxy, firewall
• MITRE ATT&CK understanding & security control design
• Agile + Waterfall experience
• Strong communication & presentation skills

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience as Cloud Security Engineer
• Understanding of forensics, endpoint protection, security metrics & risk assessments
• Expertise in Cloud, Windows & Linux security
