Job summary

T-Systems ICT India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced cloud engineer to design, automate, and manage production infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

You will build scalable environments, deploy via CI/CD pipelines, and implement IaC using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates. Collaboration with architects and global teams is essential. The role emphasizes automation, security, and reliable cloud services across Pune and Bengaluru, with a strong focus on incident prevention and documented

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience engineering modern cloud infrastructures.
• Strong automation and CI/CD in MS Azure.
• Hands-on Azure services including VMs, Storage, Networking, DNS.
• Scripting in Python, PowerShell or Bash.
• IaC with Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates.
• Experience with CI/CD tools Git/GitHub and Azure DevOps.
• Proactive learner with ability to work across teams.

Responsibilities

Contribute to architecture design documents operational handbooks and runbooks to maintain consistent operational transparency and alignment across teams Develop and automate standard operating procedures around common failure scenarios and manual operational tasks Contribute to the continuous improvement of best practices related to Infrastructure as Code automation and cloud operations Work within scrum teams alongside architects and product managers to deploy and support new infrastructure and operational requirements on Microsoft Azure Build manage and maintain production systems using key Azure services such as Azure App Services Azure Load Balancer Application Gateway Azure Firewall Azure Storage Azure Functions API Management and Azure DNS with Infrastructure as Code IaC tools like Terraform and Bicep Troubleshoot complex issues and coordinate with appropriate resources to resolve incidents efficiently minimizing business impact Leverage your in depth Azure expertise to plan and lead the deployment of reliable and secure cloud solutions using automated pipelines and best practices Create proof of concept implementations to demonstrate solutions and share technical knowledge with team members Collaborate with international cross functional teams to foster knowledge sharing and collective success Apply sound understanding of ITIL based processes such as Incident Change and Problem Management Collaborate on CI CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions to enable automated deployments testing and continuous delivery Collaborate with architects and application engineers to ensure applications are scalable maintainable and aligned with enterprise standards for high availability and disaster recovery

Nice to Have A degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or a related technical field Minimum of 4 years of experience engineering modern cloud infrastructures with strong focus on automation and CI CD pipelines in MS Azure Hands on experience with Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines Azure Storage Azure Networking VNets VPNs ExpressRoute etc and Azure DNS Strong working knowledge of version control and CI CD tools including Git GitHub and Azure DevOps Solid experience with Linux administration Windows Server knowledge is an advantage Comfort working with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor Grafana and Application Insights is a plus Strong scripting ability in Python PowerShell or Bash for automation and system management Practical understanding and application of Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform Bicep or ARM templates Excellent networking knowledge including firewalls VPNs routing and packet inspection A proactive mindset and openness to continuously learn new skills and adapt to emerging technologies within the Azure ecosystem
