Job summary

Kavi Software Technologies Private Limited is seeking a Cloud & DevOps Engineer in Chennai with 4–5 years of IT experience, including 2–3 years in Azure. You will provision Azure resources, automate deployments, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

The role emphasizes IaC using Terraform/Bicep, containerization with Docker, and cost optimization. Responsibilities include securing access via Entra ID, RBAC, and Key Vault, plus monitoring with Azure Monitor and App Insights, while scripting in PowerShell

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of IT experience with 2–3 years hands-on in Microsoft Azure.
• Core Azure services: compute, networking, storage and AppService.
• Hands-on CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps; Git for source control.
• Terraform or Bicep / ARM templates experience.
• Docker experience; basic Kubernetes (AKS).
• Linux administration and scripting (PowerShell or Bash).
• Networking basics: DNS, firewalls/NSGs, load balancing and SSL certificates.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage core Azure resources such as VMs, App Service, VNets, Storage and Azure SQL/PostgreSQL.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for builds and deployments.
• Write and maintain IaC using Terraform or Bicep.
• Containerise applications with Docker and support deployments to AKS or App Service.
• Manage access and secrets using Entra ID, RBAC and Key Vault.
• Set up monitoring and alerts with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Troubleshoot deployments, infrastructure and performance issues across environments.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell or Bash scripts.
• Keep an eye on cloud costs and suggest right-sizing where needed.
• Maintain documentation for environments, pipelines and deployment steps.

Education:
