Qualifications

• 15 years of IT experience with deep cloud and infrastructure expertise.
• 5+ years in cloud architecture, technical consulting or senior engineering leadership.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Azure, AWS, hybrid cloud and enterprise migrations.
• Experience with landing zones, networking, identity, security, DR/BCP and infrastructure modernization.
• Practical knowledge of Terraform or equivalent IaC tools, CI/CD, automation and FinOps.
• Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID and Microsoft 365 migrations.
• Proven technical solutioning, architecture governance, client engagement and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Azure, AWS and hybrid cloud architecture for enterprise customers.
• Design landing zones, cloud networking, identity, security, resilience and disaster recovery solutions.
• Establish architecture standards, design reviews and technical governance.
• Drive cloud-native, infrastructure and platform modernization initiatives.
• Lead cloud assessments, migration strategy, dependency mapping and migration-wave planning.
• Oversee large-scale data center exits, application, database, server and middleware migrations.
• Drive Active Directory consolidation, Entra ID modernization and Microsoft 365 tenant migrations.
• Govern cutover, testing, performance optimization, hypercare and operational handover.
• Lead technical solutioning, RFP/RFI responses, effort estimation and architecture proposals.
• Develop migration roadmaps, solution blueprints and reusable consulting accelerators.

Experience: 15+ years overall, with 5+ years in senior cloud technical leadership

Platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Active Directory, Entra ID and Microsoft 365

Role Focus: 75% Technical Leadership | 25% Business & Practice Management

1. Role Summary

Lead the technical architecture, solution engineering and delivery of global cloud and infrastructure consulting engagements. Drive enterprise cloud migrations, data center exits, hybrid cloud transformation, modernization, automation, security and FinOps across Azure and AWS.

The role requires a hands‑on technical leader who can own complex architecture decisions, guide engineering teams, lead technical client discussions and support practice growth, pre‑sales and P&L performance.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Technical Leadership & Architecture — 25%

Own end‑to‑end Azure, AWS and hybrid cloud architecture for enterprise customers.

Design landing zones, cloud networking, identity, security, resilience and disaster recovery solutions.

Establish architecture standards, design reviews and technical governance.

Drive cloud‑native, infrastructure and platform modernization initiatives.

Lead cloud assessments, migration strategy, dependency mapping and migration‑wave planning.

Oversee large‑scale data center exits, application, database, server and middleware migrations.

Drive Active Directory consolidation, Entra ID modernization and Microsoft 365 tenant migrations.

Govern cutover, testing, performance optimization, hypercare and operational handover.

C. Automation, DevOps & FinOps — 15%

Drive Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation and automation frameworks.

Implement CI/CD, configuration management, reusable modules and automated provisioning.

Lead cloud cost optimization, rightsizing, observability, security automation and operational resilience.

D. Technical Delivery & Client Advisory — 10%

Review solution designs, implementation plans, technical risks and delivery quality.

Lead architecture workshops, proof‑of‑concepts and complex technical escalations.

Ensure security, performance, availability and compliance requirements are met.

E. Technical Pre‑Sales & Solutioning — 10%

Lead technical solutioning, RFP/RFI responses, effort estimation and architecture proposals.

Develop migration roadmaps, solution blueprints and reusable consulting accelerators.

Support client presentations, solution defense and Microsoft/AWS partner engagements.

Contribute to practice P&L, revenue growth, margins, utilization and pipeline conversion.

Lead, mentor and develop cloud architects and senior engineering teams.

Build technical capabilities, certification roadmaps, reusable IP and strategic partnerships.

Track delivery performance, customer satisfaction and practice growth.

3. Required Qualifications

15 years of IT experience with deep cloud and infrastructure expertise.

5+ years in cloud architecture, technical consulting or senior engineering leadership.

Strong hands‑on expertise in Azure, AWS, hybrid cloud and enterprise migrations.

Experience with landing zones, networking, identity, security, DR/BCP and infrastructure modernization.

Practical knowledge of Terraform or equivalent IaC tools, CI/CD, automation and FinOps.

Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID and Microsoft 365 migrations.

Proven technical solutioning, architecture governance, client engagement and team leadership.

Exposure to commercial ownership, estimation, pre‑sales and global delivery environments.

4. Preferred Certifications

Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).

AWS Solutions Architect – Professional.

Terraform Associate, FinOps Practitioner or cloud security certifications.

TOGAF or PMP certification is desirable.
