Product Development
Overview:
The Cloud Architect will design, implement, and govern secure, compliant, and scalable cloud and hybrid
cloud architectures with a primary focus on US Healthcare systems and secondary applicability across
Telecom, Finance, and Banking domains. This role will lead the architecture of HIPAA-compliant healthcare
platforms, integrating Big Data, AI/ML, GenAI, RPA, and API-driven automation across AWS, Azure, and
Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The Cloud Architect will ensure data privacy, regulatory compliance, and high
availability while enabling innovation through intelligent, AI-driven cloud solutions.
Job Roles & Responsibilities
AWS Infrastructure Management & Automation:
- Design and govern HIPAA-compliant cloud and hybrid architectures for healthcare systems including
EHR/EMR, claims processing, clinical analytics, and patient engagement platforms.
- Define enterprise cloud reference architectures, landing zones, and governance models tailored for US
healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH, CMS).
- Architect hybrid cloud solutions to support on-prem clinical systems integrated with public cloud
services.
Hybrid & Multi-Cloud Infrastructure Architecture
- Architect and oversee hybrid and multi-cloud platforms across:
o AWS: EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, VPC
o Azure: Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, AKS, VNet
o GCP: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, GKE, VPC
- Design secure connectivity between on-prem data centers and cloud platforms using VPNs, Direct
Connect, ExpressRoute, and Interconnect.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep for consistent
deployments.
- Architect healthcare data platforms using cloud-native analytics and Big Data services:
o AWS: EMR, Redshift, Glue, Athena
o Azure: Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Databricks
o GCP: BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc
- Enable ingestion and processing of structured and unstructured healthcare data (HL7, FHIR, claims,
imaging metadata).
- Integrate AI-driven analytics to support population health, clinical insights, and operational
optimization.
- AI, ML & GenAI Enablement
- Design architectures supporting ML/DL and GenAI workloads for healthcare use cases such as
predictive risk modeling, fraud detection, and operational forecasting.
- Integrate GenAI platforms (AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI) with strict data governance and PHI
protection.
- Enable MLOps pipelines that meet healthcare auditability and traceability requirements.
- API & Integration Architecture
- Design secure API frameworks for healthcare interoperability (FHIR, REST, event-driven architectures).
- Enable integration between cloud platforms, healthcare applications, and third-party vendors.
- Support hybrid integration patterns applicable to Telecom, Finance, and Banking systems requiring
low latency and high throughput.
- Architect Zero Trust security models with encryption, IAM, key management, and network
segmentation.
- Automate compliance monitoring, risk detection, and remediation using AI-driven security analytics
and RPA.Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, SOX, GDPR, supporting cross-industry
requirements.
- Cost Optimization & Cloud Economics (FinOps)
- Design cost-efficient architectures while meeting healthcare uptime and compliance requirements.
- Implement FinOps practices for hybrid and multi-cloud environments, including chargeback and usage
forecasting.
- Enable automated cost and utilization reporting using AI-driven insights and RPA workflows
