Coforge Limited in Bengaluru seeks a Technical Architect for Healthcare Data Platform implementations. You will own end-to-end solution architecture across data engineering, AI/ML, security, analytics, and integration with EHR systems like Epic/Cerner.
The role requires 12–18 years in enterprise/solution architecture, hands-on with cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake) and DevOps practices. You will lead tri-party governance and drive platform roadmaps with vendors and customers.
Technical Architect ? Healthcare Data Platform Implementations
12?18 years in enterprise / solution architecture
Engagement Delivery Manager / Practice Head
End-to-end solution architecture, system integration, deployment, and cross-workstream governance across SI delivery, product vendor, and customer
Own the complete solution architecture across data engineering, AI/ML, IAM/security, QA, analytics, and client IT workstreams
Act as the technical anchor in a tri-party delivery model ? bridging SI delivery team, platform vendor product team, and customer IT leadership
Define solution blueprints covering data ingestion, transformation, master data management, analytics, AI/ML, dashboards, and write-back to source systems
Ensure all workstreams converge into a coherent, production-grade deployment with clearly defined integration contracts between teams
Map customer requirements to platform capabilities ? identify what is available out-of-the-box, what can be configured, what needs customization, and what requires a product update from the vendor
Manage expectations across all three parties ? ensure the solution does not overpromise against current platform reality
Drive roadmap conversations with the product vendor when customer requirements exceed current capabilities
Design end-to-end integration topology across the customer's technology landscape: EHR systems (Epic, Cerner), legacy databases, SFTP feeds, HL7 v2/FHIR R4 interfaces, claims/EDI feeds, IT operations platforms, and security telemetry systems
Define connector sequencing, protocol selection, API gateway design, network constraints (firewall rules, IP whitelisting, VPN), and error handling patterns
Coordinate with customer IT on source system access and with vendor product team on connector capabilities and limitations
Design environment topology (Dev, QA, Staging, Prod), workspace isolation strategy, and CI/CD pipelines for platform artifacts
Define environment promotion gates, rollback procedures, disaster recovery architecture, and RTO/RPO targets
Establish DevOps practices: infrastructure-as-code, automated testing, deployment automation, monitoring, and alerting
Define deployment model for AI agents (versioning, guardrail promotion, canary deployment) and dashboards (embedded vs standalone, refresh schedules, data gateway architecture)
Manage tri-party escalation path: SI delivery blockers, vendor platform gaps, and customer infrastructure or access dependencies
Surface platform limitations, technical debt, and roadmap dependencies early; act as honest broker across all parties
Maintain architecture decision log and technical risk register
Chair technical steering committee with representation from SI, vendor, and customer
Own go-live technical readiness assessment
Serve as technical counterpart to customer CTO, CISO, and VP of IT
Primary technical liaison to platform vendor team for escalations, feature requests, and roadmap alignment
Create architecture diagrams, integration topology, and deployment models for customer proposals and RFP responses
Ensure proposals are grounded in platform reality ? what is supported today vs what is on the vendor roadmap
Participate in technical defense during customer orals and solution presentations
12?18 years in enterprise or solution architecture with end-to-end ownership ? from solution design through production deployment
Proven experience designing large-scale data platform architectures: data lakes, lakehouses , ETL/ELT pipelines, real-time and batch processing, API-driven integrations
e with tools like Databricks or Snowflake; familiarity with AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda) or Azure (ADLS, Synapse, Data Factory, Event Hub)
Strong DevOps and CI/CD experience: infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation), automated deployment pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with environment management, promotion workflows, rollback strategies, and production incident management
Working knowledge of data governance frameworks, data stewardship practices, metadata management, and data catalog tools
Experience with exploratory data analysis (EDA) ? data profiling, statistical analysis, data quality assessment, and anomaly detection as part of solution design
Understanding of analytics and BI architecture: dimensional modeling, measure/metric design, dashboard architecture, and reporting layer patterns
Familiarity with master data management (MDM) concepts: entity resolution, golden record, survivorship rules
Exposure to healthcare IT ? provider or payer side; understanding of EHR landscape, clinical and financial data flows, and regulatory environment
Working knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards: HL7 v2, FHIR R4, CCDA, EDI X12 (837/835/270/271)
Understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements, PHI handling, and healthcare security posture (SOC2, HITRUST)
Experience with system integration patterns: API gateway design, event-driven and message-based architectures, SFTP/FTPS, database CDC, webhook patterns
Experience with identity and access management: SAML, OAuth2, SSO, RBAC/ABAC models, row-level security, data masking
Excellent stakeholder communication ? able to articulate architecture to both engineering teams and C-suite leadership
Experience working in a multi-vendor / tri-party delivery model (SI + product vendor + customer)
Prior SI experience implementing healthcare data platforms (Health Catalyst, Arcadia, or similar)
Experience with Epic/Cerner EHR integration: API auth, FHIR bulk export, billing module integration, clinical data write-back
Familiarity with AI/ML agent architectures, LLM integration, RAG pipelines, and guardrail frameworks
Familiarity with CMS quality programs (HEDIS, Star Ratings, MIPS) and value-based care models
