Job summary

ValueLabs is seeking a Principal Azure Platform Architect to define, own, and evolve the enterprise Azure cloud platform. This high-impact leadership role requires end-to-end accountability for architecture, platform reliability, security, identity, data services, and AI enablement.

You will set the architectural vision, establish guardrails, and enable multiple engineering teams to deliver securely on a scalable cloud foundation. Strong Azure expertise and leadership are essential.

We are looking for a Principal Azure Platform Architect to define, own, and evolve our enterprise-wide Azure cloud platform. This is a high-impact leadership role with end-to-end accountability for cloud architecture, platform reliability, security, identity, data services, and AI enablement.

As the technical authority and platform owner, you will set the architectural vision, establish guardrails, and enable multiple engineering teams to deliver securely and efficiently on a stable, scalable, and well-governed cloud foundation.

What You’ll Do

• Own and drive the Azure platform strategy and roadmap
• Define and enforce enterprise standards, reference architectures, and best practices
• Make high-impact decisions across security, scalability, reliability, and cost
• Guide architecture for critical workloads and balance long-term strategy with delivery needs
• Enable adoption of modern deployment models (Blue/Green, Canary, Zero-downtime)
• Champion DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD automation
• Lead platform foundations: landing zones, governance, subscription design, and secure defaults
• Drive Zero Trust security, monitoring, and cost optimization strategies
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior engineering and technology leadership
• Containers & compute (AKS, App Services, Service Fabric)
• Identity & access (Azure Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access)
• Networking (hub-and-spoke, private endpoints, secure routing)
• CI/CD, IaC (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
