Job summary

Mareana Software India Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks a Cloud Architect with strong DevOps, cloud platform management, and IT infrastructure expertise. You will design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP, leading a team of Cloud & DevOps engineers.

The role requires 10–12 years in cloud architecture, hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools, plus solid security and governance knowledge.

At Mareana, we build Enterprise-Scale AI/ML-powered products for Manufacturing, Sustainability and Supply Chain. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Cloud Architect with a solid background in DevOps practices , Cloud Platform Management , and IT infrastructure . You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP. The ideal candidate brings hands-on DevOps expertise, automation mindset, and strong cloud governance knowledge.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement robust cloud solutions aligned with business and security requirements.
• Define cloud architecture standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives and modernization of legacy infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging using Prometheus, ELK, CloudWatch, or equivalent.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate cloud with existing enterprise infrastructure.
• Oversee networking, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and hybrid cloud setups.
• Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis for critical failures.
• Work closely with software development, QA, and security teams to align infrastructure with application needs.
• Provide technical leadership and lead a team of Cloud & DevOps engineers.
• Act as a point of contact for cloud-related decision-making and problem resolution.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10–12 years of hands-on experience in AWS / Azure / GCP architecture and services
• Expertise in DevOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform.
• Deep understanding of networking, Linux/Windows servers, and IT operations.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, identity management, and governance.
• Deep expertise in AWS and/or Azure platforms with extensive use of services like EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience in leading mission-critical cloud projects, including hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
• Strong grasp of cloud architecture principles, security best practices, and DevSecOps integration.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation
• Experience implementing and managing Kubernetes at scale (EKS, AKS, or self-managed), including security and lifecycle management.
• Solid understanding of networking (VPC, firewalls, load balancing, DNS, VPN, etc.) within a cloud context.
• Deep experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD) and GitOps workflows (FluxCD/ArgoCD).
• Skilled in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go.
• Proficiency in monitoring, alerting, and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.).
• Experience with config management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• Strong leadership in incident management, RCA, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for continuous learning, innovation, and keeping up with emerging trends in cloud-native technologies.
