Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Cloud Architect at Associate Manager level in Kochi to design and deliver secure, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions for client projects. You will lead technical discovery, architecture decisions, estimation, delivery planning, and quality assurance from concept through implementation.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of relevant infrastructure, cloud architecture, or technical consulting experience.
• Hands-on architecture experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform; multi-cloud experience is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience guiding multidisciplinary technical teams and making architecture decisions.

• Lead client and supplier workshops to understand the current environment, requirements, constraints, dependencies, and integration interfaces.
• Design and document production-ready infrastructure solutions for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Create proofs of concept where needed to validate designs, reduce technical risk, and improve estimate accuracy.
• Prepare infrastructure cost and effort estimates, including cloud pricing calculations and resource or skill requirements.
• Break solution designs into clear work packages with prerequisites, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and delivery estimates.
• Define infrastructure security concepts and work with client security teams to meet security and compliance requirements.
• Design monitoring, logging, and alerting for cloud, on-premises, monolithic, and microservices-based environments.
• Lead technicians, developers, operations, and DevOps teams; delegate tasks, resolve technical issues, and act as the quality gate for deliverables.
• Track infrastructure risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, and provide updates to the project RAID log.
• Support internal initiatives and represent the company at relevant industry events.

Professional and Technical Skills

• 8-12 years of relevant infrastructure, cloud architecture, or technical consulting experience, with multiple completed projects.
• Successful delivery experience as a Cloud Architect on greenfield and migration projects.
• Hands-on architecture experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform; multi-cloud experience is an advantage.
• Strong technical consulting skills, including workshop facilitation, current-state assessment, requirements analysis, and practical client recommendations.
• Ability to turn complex environments into clear architecture designs, implementation plans, work packages, and estimates.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience guiding multidisciplinary technical teams and making architecture decisions.
• Structured approach to priorities, deadlines, dependencies, risks, budget, and quality.
• Working knowledge of security, networking, identity, compute, storage, backup, resilience, monitoring, and cloud cost optimisation.
• Ability to produce architecture designs, migration concepts and plans, cost and effort estimates, pricing calculators, Architecture Decision Records, improvement and technical-debt backlogs, client requirements and constraints, and RAID log updates.
