Qualifications

• Mandatory clinical and teaching capabilities across hospital staff groups.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to explain product use.
• Experience combining bedside nursing with formal teaching.
• Fluent English; ability to interact with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of clinical risk tools and patient safety best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned educational sessions for nurses, doctors, physiotherapists and other health professionals on clinical significance of all systems used.
• Demonstrate products with a scientific rationale.
• Carry out incidental teaching in wards during routine checks.
• Routinely audit the systems in use.
• Support nurses in assessing patient risk using clinical tools (e.g., Braden Scale).
• Engage stakeholders to discuss product advantages and drive best practices.
• Conduct mattress checks and audits.

Role Overview

The role involves conducting training sessions, performing clinical assessments, supporting patients with reduced mobility, carrying out system audits, and engaging with hospital stakeholders to drive best practices and optimal product utilization.

Key Responsibilities

• To conduct planned educational sessions for nurses, doctors, physiotherapists and other health professionals on the clinical significance of all systems used.
• To demonstrate various products using scientific rationale.
• To conduct incidental teachings in the wards while on routine check.
• To routinely check all the systems being used.
• To support nurses in assessing patient risk using various clinical risk assessment tools (e.g., Braden Scale, falls risk tools).
• To meet and discuss the advantages and benefits of various products to all the key Stakeholders decision makers
• To conduct mattress checks/ audits

Authority

Can take independent decisions concerning the use of the systems for the patients after assessing them

Mandatory Skills

• Good presentation and teaching techniques.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Command over the clinical aspects.

• Experience with both bedside nursing as well as teaching is a must
