Job summary

International SOS in Hyderabad seeks a Clinical Psychologist to enhance mental health and well-being, assist with internal conflicts, and diagnose and manage conditions such as anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.

The candidate should hold an MSc in Clinical Psychology with RCI registration and have a minimum of 5 years in a hospital/clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Improve overall mental health and well-being.
• Assist in dealing with internal psychological conflicts and address issues practically.
• Diagnose, assess and manage medical conditions such as anxiety, depression, adjustment to illness, neurological disorders, addictive behaviours, eating disorders, and relationship problems.
• Provide supportive therapy for issues like abuse, addictions, and personality complexities.
• Assess and support distress from adjustment, conflict, time management, negative thinking, work-life balance, self-confidence, and relationships.
• Provide group psychological counselling and deliver presentations/workshops as needed.

Role & responsibilities

• Improving overall mental health and well-being.
• Assist in finding ways of dealing with internal psychological conflicts and addressing their issues in a practical manner.
• Diagnose/ assess /and manage medical conditions like anxiety, depression, adjustment to physical illnesses, neurological disorders, addictive behaviours, challenging behaviours, eating disorders, personal and family relationship problems.
• Provide supportive therapy for issues such as abuse, addiction, select clinical disorders and personality complexities.
• Assess, provide support, and manage distress resulting from issues related to adjustment, conflict resolution, time management, negative thinking, work-life balance, self-confidence, and building on perspective taking, concerns related to interpersonal relationships, marital concerns, and personal growth.
• Provide group psychological counselling session where required and deliver presentations / take part in work shops.

Preferred candidate profile

• MSc. Clinical Psychology. Clinical Psychologist with RCI Registration.
• Experience Minimum 5 years in a hospital/clinical setting.
