BCD Travel in Bengaluru, India seeks a Client Controller to oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for a diversified travel portfolio on a remote basis.

You will analyze variances, support audits, and partner with internal teams to deliver data-driven insights and cross‑border controls. This role offers flexible work options, exposure to a global team, and opportunities to develop your finance and analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounts or Finance required.
• Solid knowledge of Accounting and Finance practices.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW.
• Strong numeric and analytical abilities.
• Experience in a multinational company with cross-border finance.
• Advanced Excel skills: formulas, pivot tables, Power Query and data viz.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the closing process including journal entries and accruals.
• Analyze actuals vs. budget and forecast for reviews.
• Build annual budgets and monthly forecasts with internal input.
• Perform variance analysis and deliver clear reporting.
• Own data on client settlements and reporting.
• Support audits and respond to internal/external inquiries.
• Manage the controlling inbox and respond to queries.

Client Controller (Remote)

Full time, Bangalore, India

The client controller will play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance analysis across a portfolio of business travel. This position will leverage data-driven insights to identify trends, and support informed business decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with analytical expertise and a proactive approach to process improvement and stakeholder partnership.

As a Client Controller, you will

• Lead and execute the closing process, including journal entries, accruals, intercompany charges etc
• Analyze actuals vs. budget and forecast to support financial reviews
• Build annual budgets and monthly forecasts with input from internal teams
• Perform variance analysis and deliver clear reporting
• Have ownership of collecting, composing, analyzing, and reporting data concerning client’s settlements
• Help achieve team goals and contribute to departmental and regional success
• Support internal and external financial audits
• Manage the controlling inbox, assisting colleagues with queries and ad hoc requests

About you

• Degree in Accounts or Finance (University/College) or similar experience
• Prior experience with a sound knowledge of Accounting and Finance
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA | SAP BW
• Strong numeric and analytical skills and capable of analyzing processes
• Experience from a multinational company, with exposure to international finance processes, reporting standards, and cross border collaboration
• Knowledge on advance Excel skills, including mastery of advanced formulas, pivot tables. Power Query, and data visualization techniques are also a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
