Santam is seeking a Motor Claims Service Consultant - Abuntex, based in Johannesburg (Hill on Empire). The role involves processing all allocated motor claims and preparing them for assessor appointment, while serving as the first point of contact for clients, intermediaries and service providers.

Santam’s Motor Claims (South Region: Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape and Free State) has a position available for a Motor Claims Service Consultant - Abuntex, that will be based in Johannesburg (Hill on Empire).

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

The purpose of this position is to process all the allocated Motor Claims and make them ready for an assessor to be appointed. CSC is the first point of contact for all claims and will be responsible for all queries on motor claim. This will include communication with the client, Intermediary and or Service Provider.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE?

• Manage workload and instructions from system through any communication and or documents.
• Work closely with your team.
• Required to check completeness and correctness of documents.
• Responsible for all actions to get claim assessment ready and the appointment of the assessor.
• Contact clients or intermediary telephonically for any identified outstanding information and keep them informed.
• Required to follow up on claims to receive digital images and or any documentation necessary for Assessment.
• Handle complaints, queries, all interaction with clients, Intermediaries, Service Providers, internal stakeholders, Relationship Managers, Underwriters, either by telephone or by email.
• Create services on Claims Center system for rental.
• Responsible for arranging, managing rental requests, extensions & terminations.
• Attend to and review all daily activities on the Claims Center system.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Matric
• Fully computer literate (MS Office)
• 2 - 4 years’ claims experience
• Any previous claims handling, pre-support and or post support experience is advantageous
• Knowledge of Abuntex, BPM, Claims Center and Codeplex (SPM) will be an advantage
