• Perform retrospective, concurrent, and prospective audits of coded records
• Verify that physician documentation supports the assigned diagnosis codes
• Identify coding errors, discrepancies, and inconsistencies during audits

• Apply official coding and risk adjustment guidelines, including those from CMS, to ensure codes correctly reflect patient conditions..
• Maintain high accuracy and productivity standards for coding and auditing.
• Perform retrospective, concurrent, and prospective audits of coded records to ensure quality and compliance.
