Job summary

Rohan Group in India is seeking a Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily activities on the project site, coordinate manpower, equipment and materials, and ensure work is carried out to the required lines and levels. You will guide workers, liaise with the site and senior engineers, ensure safety and housekeeping, and monitor material availability to avoid delays.

This role emphasizes first-time-right execution, proper curing, and timely procurement while maintaining PPE usage and safe

Responsibilities

• Understand daily work targets from the engineer and input manpower, equipment, and material requirements.
• Mobilize required workers, tools, tackles and equipment at the worksite.
• Place requisition for concrete or other materials as needed during the day.
• Supervise and guide workers to execute work as per line, level and workmanship.
• Take guidance from site engineer or senior engineer for clarifications to ensure first-time-right work.
• Ensure curing of the works until the curing period is over.
• Check that equipment and machinery are not detained at the site longer than necessary.
• Keep watch on PPE usage and ensure safety requirements per supervisor's guidance.
• Keep a check on material availability at site and requisition in time.
• Minimize material wastage.
• Maintain housekeeping during the day and at daily closure.

• Ensure curing of the works till the curing period is over.
• Check that the equipment/machinery is not detained at work place more than what is required or necessary.
• Keep watch on use of PPEs and ensure placement of safety requirements as per guidance of safety supervisor / steward.
• Keep a check on material availability at site and requisition well in time as per work requirement..
• Minimize material wastage.
• Take care of Housekeeping during the day and at the time of closure of daily work.
