Job summary

Wood is actively recruiting for an experienced Civil & Structural - Consultant - Geo Technical in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The role involves interpreting geotechnical reports, recommending foundations for oil & gas facilities, and conducting soil improvements with various techniques.

The successful candidate will work with Indian, European and American standards, produce GA/detail drawings, and perform slope stability analyses.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting geotechnical investigation reports.
• Experience in providing foundation recommendations for oil & gas structures.
• Proficiency with Indian, Euro and American standards for geotechnical works.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret geotechnical investigation reports for recommendations in civil works.
• Provide foundation recommendations for oil & gas plant structures and equipment.
• Perform soil improvement analyses including band drains & Stone columns.
• Expert in slope stability analysis and design including shore protection and seepage study.
• Produce deliverables such as GA drawings, detail drawings and supporting calculations.
• Should have constructability review experience.
• Exposure to American Petroleum Industry & OISD requirements will be a plus.

Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Civil & Structural - Consultant - Geo Technical with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas sector for Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

The Role

• Must have exposure to
  • Review and interpret the Geotechnical investigation report for various recommendation in executing civil works
  • Experienced in providing foundation recommendations for oil & gas plant structures and equipment
  • Experienced in providing soil improvement including band drains & Stone columns techniques
  • Expert in slope stability analysis and design including shore protection/ water seepage study
• Must have sound working experience in using Indian, Euro and American standards for Geo Technical works.
• Thorough experience in production of deliverables such as General arrangement drawings for Geo technical works, Detail drawings & supporting Calculations for slope stability and soil improvement techniques.
• Should have experience on constructability review.
• Exposure to American petroleum Industry & OISD requirement for Civil & Geotechnical works will be plus point.
