Draftsman role focused on Civil & Structural drafting for substations, covering GIS substation buildings, transformer foundations, and outdoor structures. Responsible for detailing and 3D work from 11kV to 765kV, coordinating with Electrical, MEP and other teams across domestic and international projects.
Lead drawing delivery with a focus on quality, timely submissions, and adherence to standards and codes, including vendor drawing reviews and coordination with site and client teams.
Reports to (Job Role): Head of Engineering (Civil)
Minimum Qualification: ITI/Diploma in Civil
Experience: 10-18 years (Preferable experience with exposure in civil & structural aspects of Substation / Power Distribution Projects - Power transmission industry, of Designer and Engineering)
Responsible for detailing/ drafting/3D of Civil & Structural works for the SS projects(11kV to 765kV). Responsible to cater to needs of all SS teams of Domestic & International. The Draftsman shall manage the entire drawing for a project or a set of smaller projects including co-ordination with other disciplines viz., Electrical, MEP and others (BU).
Draftsman shall lead deliver on time and maintaining a high quality of drafting.
Ensure design drawings are done based on relevant standards and codes on general engineering practices without compromising on quality. Review of critical issues as required by Project team.
Draftsman shall be capable of executing the drafting activities for civil & structural covering GIS substation / control room buildings, transformer foundations, outdoor equipment foundations, guard house, staff quarters, grading, roads and drainage, outdoor steel structures and miscellaneous works related to the substations and cabling works. Draftsman shall be able to review Vendor drawing and 3D modeling documents with respect to Civil, mechanical. Knowledge of 3D modeling tools Knowledge of Site conditions, Topographic Conditions, environmental conditions for drafting.
