Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services is seeking an experienced civil-structural draughtsman in Pune to prepare RCC drawings using CAD/AutoCAD or manual methods. You will obtain IFC clearance, study RCC details, and produce sketches, BBS, and material take-offs while coordinating with engineers and other draughtsmen.

Ideal candidates hold ITI (10+ years) or Diploma (Civil-Structural or Mechanical) with strong English communications, and have a proven ability to visualize in 3D and maintain project

Qualifications

• ITI/ Diploma with relevant civil-structural drafting knowledge.
• Experience drafting RCC drawings and preparing Take Offs.
• Familiarity with design and construction standards (national & international).

Responsibilities

• Prepare RCC drawings by CAD/AutoCAD or manual drafting as required.
• Coordinate with engineers, modellers, and draughtsmen to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare sketches, drawing change notes, and bar bending schedules.
• Review project documents for conflicts and raise technical queries.
• Maintain IFC drawings and structural fabrication drawings with proper documentation.
• Assist in review of steel connection detailing and fabrication drawings.

Job description

Role & responsibilities :

• To prepare RCC Drawings either by Computer Aided / Auto Cad or Manual drafting methods as per project requirement. Obtain IDC (IFC) clearance.
• To take instructions from his superiors.
• To study and understand the job contents (RCC Details, Structural details, Equipment Layout, Plot Plan, Vendor Drawings, GA/Arch. Details etc).
• To prepare Sketches and Drawing Change Notes.
• To prepare Bar Bending Schedules.
• To be familiar with Design and Construction Standards (national & international) and follow the same.
• To prepare Material Take Off from Sketches, 3D Models and Drawings.
• To follow relevant Procedures.
• To ensure proper cooperation and coordination with the other Engineers/ Modellers /Draughtsman.
• To assist in review of structural fabrication drawings.
• To maintain documents e.g. IFC drawings, RCC Reinforcement detail drawing, Structural drawings, Fabrication drawings.
• To review and analyze the project documents identifying drawing and specification conflicts, insufficient information, missing dimensions etc., and raise technical queries for its resolution
• To prepare steel connection detailing, Custom connection applications, Connections & marking plans.
• To manage delivery schedules
• Review of sample fabrication drawings / BBS.
• Review of sample fabrication drawings of PEB
• To follow system procedure documentation in civil department related to allotted project.
• To communicate with client as per project requirement
• To participate in internal audit.
• To take part in internal/external seminars for management and technical development
• To provide information throughout various proposals, engineering and construction phase to respective teams with regards to all aspects of civil-structural engineering.
• To prepare, edit and maintain civil-structural engineering drawing environment/templates/software.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification- ITI with 10(+) years of relevant experience, Diploma- Civil-Structural or Mechanical with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
