Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Civil Engineering drafting professional in India who will contribute to water, wastewater, and industrial plant projects. The role requires extensive Civil 3D experience, strong collaboration skills, and a focus on continuous learning within a hybrid work environment.

Candidates should hold a Civil Engineering diploma/ITI with a certificate in AutoCAD or Civil 3D, and have excellent communication to engage with stakeholders. Knowledge of Revit is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, Diploma, or ITI in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Certificate in AutoCAD or Civil 3D from a recognized CAD institution (preferred).
• Extensive hands-on experience using Civil 3D software.
• Working knowledge of Revit software is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

Your impact

• Relevant years of drafting experience across water and wastewater infrastructure and industrial plant projects
• Hands-on experience in Civil 3D, including pressure pipe modeling, gravity pipe modeling, profile views and band styles, sub-assemblies, grading, and corridor modeling
• Experience in conducting clash detection using Navisworks
• Experience working within Common Data Environments (CDEs) such as ProjectWise and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
