Job summary

Big Daddy Chain of Casinos, Golden Globe Hotels Private Limited is seeking a dedicated childcare attendant to supervise children in the designated kids' area. You will ensure safety, organize engaging activities, and manage drop-offs with accurate details in a guest-centric environment.

The role requires up to date first aid knowledge, strong communication in English and Hindi, and a caring, patient approach with children.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+2 education; background in childcare or nursing preferred.
• Certification in childcare/first aid/CPR preferred or willingness to train.
• Prior childcare/creche experience is an advantage.
• Good communication in English and Hindi; other languages a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in the kids' area, ensuring safety and wellbeing.
• Register children at drop-off with accurate details and contact info.
• Organize age-appropriate activities and entertainment.
• Maintain headcount and ensure hygiene and safety standards.
• Administer basic first aid for minor injuries and escalate emergencies.
• Ensure children are released only to authorized guardians.
• Monitor capacity and age-appropriate access to the area.
• Report incidents to Supervisor/Manager and document per SOPs.
• Maintain a friendly, patient, and nurturing demeanor.
• Coordinate with housekeeping/security for safety and access control.

Job description

Purpose of the Role

To provide safe, engaging, and supervised care for children of guests within the designated kids' area/creche, ensuring their wellbeing, safety, and a positive experience while parents/guardians are engaged elsewhere on the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise children within the designated play/creche area at all times, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
• Register children at drop-off with accurate details (name, age, parent/guardian contact, allergies, special needs, pick-up authorization).
• Organize and conduct age-appropriate activities, games, and entertainment to keep children engaged.
• Maintain constant visual supervision and headcount of children under care.
• Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards are maintained in the play area and equipment.
• Administer basic first aid in case of minor injuries and immediately alert Security/Medical/management for any emergency.
• Ensure children are released only to the authorized parent/guardian as per registration details.
• Monitor and enforce maximum capacity and age-appropriate access to the kids' area.
• Report any incidents, injuries, or concerns to the Supervisor/Manager and document as per SOPs.
• Maintain a friendly, patient, and nurturing demeanor with children at all times.
• Coordinate with housekeeping/security for cleanliness, safety checks, and access control of the area.

Eligibility / Qualifications

• Minimum 10+2 (Higher Secondary); background in childcare, early childhood education, or nursing preferred.
• Certification in childcare/first aid/CPR preferred or willingness to undergo training.
• Prior experience in childcare, creche, or nursery settings an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English/Hindi; additional languages an advantage.
• Patient, caring, and responsible personality with genuine affinity for children.
• Background verification/police clearance may be required given nature of role.

Working Conditions

Progression

• Based on performance and experience, may progress to Senior Child Minder / Kids' Area Supervisor.
