Job Title : Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Location : Delhi/NCR (Sultanpur)

Type : Full-Time

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technology strategy and execution at our fintech company. As CTO, you will be responsible for architecting and scaling secure, compliant, and innovative financial platforms that redefine how people and businesses interact with money.

This role requires deep domain knowledge of financial services technology, including regulatory requirements, security standards, and scalable product architecture.

Key Responsibilities :

1. TechnologyVision &Strategy : Define and drive the overall technology roadmap aligned with business and regulatory goals.Identify emerging fintech trends (e.g., embedded finance, open banking, DeFi) and evaluate opportunities for innovation.
2. ProductPlatform Leadership : Oversee the architecture, development, and delivery of all fintech products (e.g., payments, digital wallets, lending engines, etc.).Ensure products are scalable, secure, and compliant with financial regulations (e.g., KYC, AML, PCI DSS, GDPR, RBI/SEC rules).
3. Security, Compliance & Risk : Implement security best practices and data protection frameworks across systems.Collaborate with Legal/Compliance to ensure product and tech infrastructure are audit-ready and regulator-compliant.
4. Engineering Management : Lead and grow cross-functional engineering teams with strong DevOps, backend, mobile/web, and QA capabilities.Foster a culture of high performance, ownership, and innovation.
5. InfrastructureScalability : Design fault-tolerant and highly available systems using cloud-native architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).Establish infrastructure to handle financial data, real‑time transactions, and integrations with banking or third-party services (e.g., via APIs, UPI, Plaid, etc.).
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with Product, Risk, Data, Legal, and Operations to launch new features and optimize existing systems.Serve as a key technology representative in board, investor, and partner discussions.

Required Skills & Experience :

• 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 - 5 years in fintech or financial services.Proven leadership in building and scaling fintech platforms (e.g., payment gateways, lending platforms, digital banking, wealthtech).
• Deep understanding of financial APIs, digital identity (eKYC), transaction processing, and data security.Experience working with regulatory bodies or under licenses (NBFC, EMI, PSD2, etc.).
• Strong grasp of compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOC2, ISO 27001).

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience integrating with banking partners, PSPs, credit bureaus, or core banking systems.
• Prior experience as a founding or early-stage CTO in a fintech startup.
• Knowledge of blockchain, DeFi protocols, or tokenized asset infrastructure is a plus. .
