Job summary

The Practice Centre in Bengaluru invites applications for a Chief Technology Officer to lead the university group’s technology strategy, transformation initiatives, and IT infrastructure. You will align tech with academic and research objectives while ensuring security, scalability and efficiency.

You will drive the roadmap, manage large IT teams, and collaborate with leadership to deliver innovative digital learning and administrative platforms across the institution.

Qualifications

• 16+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership, technology strategy, digital transformation, and enterprise systems management.
• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (IT/Computer Science) or equivalent.
• Proven experience leading large technology teams and managing complex IT environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and strategic technology initiatives.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with the university’s strategic objectives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their relevance to higher education.

Role Overview

The client is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the institution’s technology strategy, digital transformation initiatives, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity framework, and innovation agenda. The CTO will play a critical role in enabling technology-driven excellence across academics, administration, research, and student services while ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Candidate Profile
