Job summary

Gajanand Foods is seeking a Business CFO/Transformation CFO to lead the finance function with strong commercial acumen. The role requires CA credentials, senior leadership experience, and a track record in FMCG or consumer products.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews across functions while building a high‑impact FP&A and analytics culture. You will collaborate with Sales, Production, Procurement and Supply Chain to improve profitability, margins, and working capital.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
• Significant experience in senior finance leadership roles such as CFO, Finance Controller, Head – Finance or equivalent.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in FMCG, Packaged Foods, Food Processing, Consumer Products or distribution-intensive manufacturing businesses.

Responsibilities

• Developing and supporting the Companys long-term growth strategy and annual operating plans.
• Establishing strong MIS, dashboards and business performance monitoring across sales, margins, inventory, production, working capital and profitability.
• Building robust budgeting, forecasting, target-setting and performance review mechanisms across functions.
• Driving detailed SKU-wise, customer-wise, channel-wise and region-wise profitability analysis.
• Independently reviewing Sales & Marketing performance, including schemes, discounts, incentives, marketing spends and return on investment.
• Strengthening working capital management, including receivables, inventory, cash flow planning and banking.
• Driving cost optimisation and margin improvement across procurement, production, logistics and commercial spends.
• Strengthening SOPs, internal controls, approval mechanisms and process discipline across the organisation.
• Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, monthly closing, statutory compliance and governance.
• Partnering closely with Sales, Production, Procurement and Supply Chain teams to improve business performance and execution.
• Building and strengthening the Finance team and developing strong FP&A and business analytics capabilities.
• Providing the management with independent, data-backed insights for key strategic and operational decisions.
