Description du poste

The client is seeking a Head of Finance / Chief Financial Officer to help professionalise and scale an impact-driven livestock and beef business transitioning to a professional, data-driven, investor-ready operating model. This hands-on leadership role will shape the finance function as an institutional backbone supporting blended finance, investor due diligence, and long-term growth. The position will be responsible for creating IFRS-compliant reporting, robust internal controls, and segment-level insight across a complex production-to-retail value chain.

The role will lead timely, accurate financial and management reporting, including consolidated accounts, segment-level performance, balance sheet and cash flow reporting, KPI dashboards, and budget-versus-actual commentary, with a focus on strong audit readiness. It will ensure compliance with IFRS requirements relevant to livestock and related operations, oversee biological asset accounting, and maintain full tax and statutory compliance, including relevant filings and payroll-related obligations. The CFO will design and enforce internal controls across procurement, payments, banking, inventory, fixed assets, expenses, and segregation of duties.

In addition to reporting and compliance, the Head of Finance / CFO will develop value-chain finance capabilities to make margins, costs, working capital, and operational performance visible in real time. Responsibilities include building dynamic cost models that trace value from livestock sourcing through feedlot, processing, inventory, sales channels, and final margin, along with tracking procurement costs and maintaining reconciliation processes. The role will support decision-making through financial analysis, operational dashboards, and scenario modelling, and will also help drive the ERP-enabled operating model as the single source of truth, with oversight of administration, HR and IT during an initial phase of institutional build-out.
