Job summary

Able Ventures is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer for a client in the mineral processing sector located in Andhra Pradesh. The CFO will oversee financial operations, ensure the integrity of financial processes, and drive financial strategy.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and reporting, manage treasury and investor relations, and build robust financial controls. A CA/ICWA background with 18+ years in senior finance roles is essential; manufacturing experience

Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CA/ICWA highly desirable.
• CA (optional CFA/CS) credentials may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Strategic financial leadership: guide board decisions with insights.
• Develop and execute budgeting, forecasting, and modeling.

Job Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring the integrity of financial processes, and driving financial strategy. The CFO plays a key role in managing the company's financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors to guide the companys strategic decisions.


• Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and execute the companys financial strategy. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to align with company goals.


• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks. Ensure compliance with regulations and manage internal controls.


• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, and present financial results to senior management and stakeholders.


• Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Manage the companys cash flow, investment strategies, and banking relationships to ensure liquidity and financial stability.


• Budgeting & Cost Control: Develop and monitor budgets, controlling operational costs, and ensuring efficient allocation of resources.


• Fundraising & Investor Relations: Manage fundraising initiatives, including debt and equity financing. Build and maintain strong relationships with investors and financial institutions.


• Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Lead financial due diligence and integration for mergers, acquisitions, or joint ventures.


• Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of taxes and compliance with legal regulations in all jurisdictions where the company operates.


• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring continuous development and alignment with the organizations goals.


• ERP System Oversight: Oversee the implementation and management of financial systems to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

Education: Professional certifications such as CA/ ICWA highly desirable,( CA (OPTIONAL CFA / CS )+

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT)

Experience: Minimum 18+ years of experience in senior financial roles, with at least 5 years in a CFO or equivalent leadership role.

Industry Knowledge: Experience in manufacturing companies is a plus.
