Job summary

Cureus is seeking a visionary editorial leader to guide AI-first publishing across disciplines from its Pune/India presence. You will drive editorial strategy, mentor teams, and ensure rigorous scientific standards while advancing inclusive access.

You will partner with an expert advisory board to shape guidelines for AI-assisted research, manage manuscripts end-to-end, and pilot new publishing models that leverage AI to enhance integrity and accessibility for a global audience.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• Extensive AI-enabled research or digital publishing experience.
• Editorial or leadership experience; AI thought leadership desirable.
• Strong communication, organizational, and mentoring skills.
• Commitment to scientific integrity, inclusion, and methodological rigor.

Requirements

• Editorial, leadership, or community‑building experience; a track record as an AI early adopter or thought leader is highly desirable.
• Exceptionally strong communication, organizational, and mentoring skills.
• Commitment to upholding the highest standards of scientific integrity, inclusion, and methodological rigor.
