Job summary

RELX INC in India is seeking a Chemistry Content Expert – Agentic Solutions to blend chemistry expertise with GenAI search techniques, helping researchers find the right chemical information faster.

You will design and evaluate GenAI-based search behaviours, create high-quality test sets for training and validation, and collaborate with Data Science and Technology teams to shape new AI search solutions for Reaxys.

Qualifications

• PhD or post-doctoral experience in Organic Chemistry or closely related field, with hands-on laboratory or research experience.
• Ability to design evaluation/test datasets and assess the quality of outputs from chemistry-related tools or systems.
• Understanding of how chemistry data is structured, represented, and retrieved in scientific information systems (e.g., databases, taxonomies, or similar platforms).
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and scientific partners.
• Familiarity with or interest in AI/NLP-based or agentic systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Data Discovery and Enrichment Expert, you will bring chemistry expertise together with GenAI search practices to optimise how users find and retrieve chemistry information.
