Job summary

Bureau Veritas do Brasil is seeking a qualified professional to handle HPLC instruments, data entry and related documentation in a regulated lab setting.

The role requires a science background with Master or equivalent and 4-5 years in food testing, strong communication, and basic computer skills. You will maintain instruments, prepare SOPs and support audit readiness under BV policies.

Qualifications

• Science graduate with Master or equivalent degree.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Food Testing Industry.
• Good with data entry and communication.
• Basic computer skills and NABL audit exposure.

Responsibilities

• Extraction, handling and troubleshooting of HPLC instruments.
• Maintenance, calibration and intermediate checks of instruments and glassware.
• Prepare SOPs and assist in ILC/PT programmes and uncertainty measurements.
• Follow indenting, receipt, inspection and storage of CRM and consumables.
• Adhere to BV safety rules and local HSE requirements.

Job Description:

Purpose of Position

• The job incumbent is responsible to. Extraction, Handling and trouble shooting of HPLC Instrument as per Customer/Regulatory requirement.
• The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Lab testing activities including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.

Major Responsibilities

• Report to the Manager – section In-Charge
• Extraction, Handling and trouble shooting of HPLC Instrument
• Responsible for maintenance, calibration and intermediate checks of instruments/glasswares.
• To follow indenting, receipt, inspection and storage of CRM and consumables.
• Preparation of Standard operating procedure.
• To Assisting the Section In charge for preparing ILC/PT Programmes and uncertainity measurements.
• Other tasks as required.

Roles & Responsibilities for HSE

• Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations.
• To comply company HSE requirements e.g. policies, Procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable
• To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others.
• Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE i.e. any incident, unsafe work practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers.

Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)

• Reporting results as per TAT
• Technical competency and performance in the Audit.
• Achievement of Z score in PT ILC.
• Addition of new techniques and updating latest skills

Qualification and Experience

• Science graduate with Master or equivalent degree holder.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Food Testing Industry
• Good with data entry
• Good in Communication
• Basic computer skills and NABL Audit skills
