Job summary

Nattura Bio Care in India is seeking a versatile Chemist/Botanist to oversee manufacturing, QA, and formulation research. You will develop novel formulations for Ayurvedic, herbal, or nutraceutical products and optimize recipes.

You will test materials, identify botanical species for authenticity, document batch records, monitor production per SOPs, troubleshoot issues, and enforce GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Education as stated: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing plant laboratory or R&D setup.
• Advantage: direct experience in Ayurvedic, herbal, or nutraceutical manufacturing units.
• Skills include botanical identification, chemical analysis, and lab equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Develop novel formulations for herbal, Ayurvedic, or nutraceutical products.
• Optimize existing recipes to improve efficacy, stability, and cost-efficiency.
• Conduct stability testing on raw materials and finished goods.
• Test raw materials and finished products using standard laboratory techniques.

• Maintain precise documentation for regulatory compliance and batch manufacturing records (BMR).
• Monitor batch production to ensure SOP adherence.
