Your Role

As a GL Accounting Analyst at Capgemini, you will be responsible for supporting General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, and month-end closing activities while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal control requirements. This role is ideal for CA Freshers (2026 Batch) with exposure to Statutory Audit who are looking to build a career in corporate finance and accounting.

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of General Ledger accounts.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Analyze Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet movements, investigate variances, and provide financial insights to stakeholders.
• Support statutory audit, internal audit, and financial reporting requirements by preparing schedules and audit-ready documentation.
• Assist in preparing management reports and Power BI dashboards to track financial performance and key business metrics.

Your Profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) - 2026 Batch Fresher with Articleship experience in Statutory Audit.
• Sound understanding of Accounting Standards (IndAS), IFRS, Financial Statements, and Audit Procedures.
• Exposure to balance sheet review, financial reporting, trial balance analysis, and audit documentation during articleship.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to interpret large volumes of financial data.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, financial reporting tools, and willingness to work in a dynamic global finance environment.
