Protiviti India is seeking a Consultant Internal Audit (CA Freshers) in Pune. Fresh CA with articleship in Internal Audit, Risk Advisory, IFC/SOX, Process Reviews, and Compliance Audits is preferred.

You will execute internal audit assignments under guidance, assess risks, support process improvements, and contribute to audit reports. The role offers exposure to multiple industries, requires strong analytical skills, and involves travel across India and potentially to the Middle East based on

Qualifications

• CA freshers with articleship experience in Internal Audit, Risk Advisory, IFC/SOX, Process Reviews, and Compliance Audits.
• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP is a plus.
• Familiarity with Companies Act, 2013 provisions.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Execute internal audit assignments across various industries under the guidance of senior team members.
• Assist in identifying, assessing, and monitoring business risks and internal controls.
• Support process reviews and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and control effectiveness.
• Participate in risk assessments, internal control reviews, and compliance audits.
• Assist in documentation of SOPs, RCMs, and audit reports.
• Support clients in evaluating compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Assist in testing internal controls and contributing to IFC and SOX engagements.
• Prepare audit working papers, observations, recommendations, and management reports.
• Build professional relationships with client stakeholders and work effectively within engagement teams.
• Deliver assigned tasks within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Participate in business development initiatives, research activities, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute internal audit assignments across various industries under the guidance of senior team members.

• Assist in documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Risk Control Matrices (RCMs), and audit reports.
• Support clients in evaluating compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Assist in testing internal controls and contributing to Internal Financial Controls (IFC) and SOX engagements.
• Prepare audit working papers, observations, recommendations, and management reports.
• Build professional relationships with client stakeholders and work effectively within engagement teams.
• Deliver assigned tasks within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Participate in business development initiatives, research activities, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Preferred Industry Exposure During Articleship

Candidates with exposure to one or more of the following sectors will be preferred:

Technical Skills

• Understanding of Internal Audit, Risk Management, and Internal Controls.
• Basic knowledge of IFC and SOX frameworks.
• Familiarity with accounting standards and provisions of the Companies Act, 2013.
• Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and process documentation.
• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
