Job summary

A D D D & Associates LLP, Chartered Accountants, Pune, seeks a qualified CA to lead statutory and internal audits for mid-sized companies.

You will supervise audit teams, coordinate with client finance teams, review ERP controls (SAP, Tally), and ensure compliance with SA, Ind AS, CARO; willingness to travel within Pune area.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with 3+ years of post-qualification experience in statutory audit in a CA firm.
• Proven experience leading audits of mid-sized companies in manufacturing, services or trading.
• Working knowledge of SAP; exposure to Tally Prime or other ERPs is an advantage.
• Experience auditing in computerised environments; DISA / CISA is a plus.
• Strong command of Standards on Auditing, Ind AS / AS, CARO 2020 and tax audit.
• Good communication skills for client-facing interaction.
• Willingness to travel to client locations in and around Pune, with occasional outstation visits.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete multiple statutory and internal audit assignments for mid-sized companies within agreed timelines.
• Lead audit teams at client locations: allocate work, supervise fieldwork, review working papers and guide team members.
• Audit in computerised environments: understand client ERP systems (especially SAP), assess IT general controls, and use data analytics / CAAT tools for sampling and exception testing.
• Identify accounting, compliance, internal-control and process-related issues, evaluate Internal Financial Controls (IFC), and report observations with practical recommendations.
• Review financial statements, CARO reporting and audit documentation for compliance with Standards on Auditing, Ind AS / AS and the Companies Act, 2013.
• Act as the main point of contact for client finance teams and management; discuss findings and close audit points.
• Keep the team updated on changes in accounting standards, auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
