Job summary

FinAlign is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 1-3 years of experience to join its finance advisory team in Mumbai. You will prepare financial statements, manage monthly closings, and develop MIS reports for client engagements.

You will work with senior stakeholders, perform financial due diligence, and build financial models for growth-stage startups and mid-sized companies, delivering high-quality outputs under pressure.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant.
• Strong expertise in preparing financial statements, monthly closing, MIS reporting, due diligence support, financial due diligence, deal advisory, and financial modeling.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow Statement.
• Manage monthly closing and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, KPI analysis, and variance analysis for management.
• Perform financial analysis to identify business trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support financial due diligence for investments, acquisitions, and other transactions.
• Provide deal advisory and transaction support, including financial analysis and presentations.
• Develop financial models for growth-stage startups and medium-sized companies.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, projections, and scenario/sensitivity analysis.
• Work directly with clients and senior stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality outputs.
