Home and Soul Infratech Private Limited is seeking a Senior Chartered Accountant to lead the Finance & Accounts function. The candidate should have deep experience in construction/real estate finance, project accounting and leasing accounting, with the ability to drive strategic financial direction.

The role requires 15–20+ years post‑qualification, CA qualification, and the capability to manage complex financial operations, budgets, forecasts and MIS reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 15–20+ years post‑qualification experience.
• Mandatory: strong, proven experience in construction/real estate accounting and leasing accounting.
• Hands-on exposure to project finance, construction accounting, lease accounting, rental income and tenant accounting.
• Experience managing large-scale projects, multiple entities and complex financial operations.
• Expertise in project costing, financial planning, treasury, MIS, audits and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial automation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance & Accounts across taxation, treasury and compliance functions.
• Drive project-wise construction accounting, costing, WIP and revenue recognition.
• Manage leasing accounting: lease income, receivables, deposits and reporting.
• Oversee GST, Income Tax, TDS and statutory audits, ensuring timely compliance.
• Develop MIS, budgets, forecasts and dashboards for construction and leasing ops.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing F&A team.

Home and Soul Infratech Private Limited is seeking a highly experienced and commercially astute Chartered Accountant to lead the Finance & Accounts function. The ideal candidate must have strong senior‑level experience in Construction & Real Estate Finance, Project Accounting, and Leasing Accounting, with the ability to independently manage complex financial operations and provide strategic financial direction to the management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the complete Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Treasury and Compliance functions.
• Drive project-wise construction accounting, project costing, WIP, revenue recognition and profitability analysis.
• Manage leasing accounting, including lease income, lease receivables, security deposits, lease-related expenses, tenant accounting, reconciliations and lease-related financial reporting.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of lease accounting standards, lease structures, rental income recognition and accounting for commercial/residential leasing portfolios.
• Oversee project and leasing budgets, cash flows, working capital and cost‑control mechanisms.
• Develop and monitor MIS, financial reporting, budgets, forecasts and management dashboards covering both construction and leasing operations.
• Ensure robust internal financial controls, governance, audit systems and accounting processes.
• Oversee GST, Income Tax, TDS, statutory compliances and audits, ensuring timely and accurate compliance.
• Manage banking relationships, funding requirements, treasury and overall financial planning.
• Review major construction contracts, lease agreements, contractor/vendor payments, tenant receivables and significant commercial transactions from a financial perspective.
• Identify financial risks and drive cost optimisation, revenue assurance and profitability improvement across projects and leasing assets.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing Finance & Accounts team.
• Work closely with the Promoters / Senior Management on business strategy, project feasibility, investments, leasing strategy, funding and financial decision-making.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 15–20+ years of post‑qualification experience.
• Mandatory: Strong and proven experience in construction / real estate accounting AND leasing accounting.
• Should have substantial hands‑on exposure to project finance, construction accounting, lease accounting, rental income, tenant accounting and real estate asset portfolios.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale projects, multiple entities and complex financial operations.
• Strong expertise in project costing, financial planning, taxation, treasury, MIS, audits and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, commercial acumen and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience with ERP systems, financial automation and advanced MIS/reporting will be preferred.
• High integrity, ownership, confidentiality and professional maturity.
