The role targets a Chartered Accountant with 10+ years in Finance & Accounts, strong ERP experience (Oracle), and a track record of driving monthly closings, reporting, and audits. Location: Chennai (Guindy).

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or relevant discipline.
• 10+ years of Finance & Accounts experience.
• Strong experience in Accounts Payable and AP Operations.
• Cash flow planning and working capital management.
• Familiarity with TDS and GST and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable and high-volume vendor transactions.
• Prepare and track weekly/monthly cash flow forecasts and align AP with AR.
• Ensure timely vendor, statutory and intercompany payments.
• Monitor overdue balances, ageing, accruals and contingent liabilities.
• Drive monthly financial closure and reconciliation activities.
• Coordinate TDS filings, statutory compliance and third-party payroll vendor compliance.
• Prepare MIS, cash flow, ageing and projection-vs-actual reports.
• Support internal and statutory audits.
• Identify process gaps and drive financial controls.

We are looking for an experienced Finance professional to manage Accounts Payable, cash flow planning, vendor reconciliation, lease accounting, compliance coordination and financial reporting in a multi-location/global operations environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Payable and high-volume vendor transactions.
• Prepare and track weekly/monthly cash flow forecasts and align AP with AR.
• Ensure timely vendor, statutory and intercompany payments.
• Monitor overdue balances, ageing, accruals and contingent liabilities.
• Handle rental and manpower cost booking and AP accruals.
• Drive monthly financial closure and reconciliation activities.
• Perform lease and cost reconciliations and analyse variances.
• Manage vendor ledger reconciliation and resolve payment/TDS-related queries.
• Coordinate TDS filings, statutory compliance and third-party payroll vendor compliance.
• Support internal and statutory audits.
• Prepare MIS, cash flow, ageing and projection-vs-actual reports.
• Coordinate with operations, procurement, vendors and internal finance teams.
• Identify process gaps and drive process improvements and financial controls.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of relevant Finance & Accounts experience.
• Strong experience in Accounts Payable / AP Operations.
• Cash flow planning and working capital management.

• Accrual accounting and cost booking.
• Month-end financial closure.

• ERP experience; Oracle preferred.
• Exposure to lease accounting and global/shared-service finance operations will be an advantage.

Education: Degree in Finance / relevant discipline.
