Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in New Delhi. The Chartered Accountant will handle statutory and internal audits, review financial statements, and ensure accurate accounting and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role includes preparing and filing tax returns, advising clients on direct and indirect tax matters, and managing tax assessments and representations. The professional will support clients with compliance management, internal controls, and risk assessment, as well as assist with financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. The Chartered Accountant will collaborate with partners and team members, interact with clients across sectors, and contribute to process improvements and documentation.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from a recognized institute, with strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and taxation laws.
• Experience in statutory and internal audits, including planning, execution, documentation, and reporting.
• Skills in tax advisory and compliance, including preparation and review of direct and indirect tax returns and handling tax assessments.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting, with the ability to interpret financial data for decision-making.
• Familiarity with accounting and audit software, MS Excel, and other relevant financial tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment capabilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and client-handling skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a partner-led team environment.
• Prior experience with corporates, PSUs, SMEs, or startups will be advantageous; exposure to multi-location or multi-industry clients is a plus.
