Job summary

Mitul Shah & Associates, a Vadodara-based CA practice, seeks an experienced CA with 2–5 years of practical CA experience to join as a full-time professional. You will own key client assignments, manage audits, GST and income tax matters, and liaise with clients and the management.

The role is located at Alkapuri, Vadodara, Gujarat, with a long-term association expectation, independence in handling responsibilities, and timely completion of assignments with strong regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2–5 years of practical CA practice experience.
• Strong exposure to GST, Income Tax, Audit and ROC compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and commonly used accounting/taxation software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Tax Audits and Company Audits.
• Handle GST and Income Tax litigation matters.
• Manage key client relationships and day-to-day client communication.
• GST compliance and return filing for key clients.
• TDS return preparation and filing for key clients.
• ROC/MCA compliances and related assignments.
• Coordinate with clients, internal team members and external stakeholders.
• Report directly to the Management/Partners and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

About the Firm

Mitul Shah & Associates is a professionally managed Chartered Accountants firm based in Vadodara, providing services across Taxation, Audit, GST, Income Tax, ROC Compliance, Litigation, Financial Advisory and Business/Client Management.

We are looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant who is keen to build a long-term professional association with a growing CA practice and take ownership of key client assignments.

Role & Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Conducting and managing Tax Audits and Company Audits
• Handling GST and Income Tax Litigation matters
• Managing key client relationships and day-to-day client communication
• GST compliance and return filing for key clients
• TDS return preparation and filing for key clients
• ROC / MCA compliances and related assignments
• Reviewing financial and tax-related information and providing professional inputs
• Coordinating with clients, internal team members and external stakeholders
• Managing assignments independently and ensuring timely completionReporting directly to the Management / Partners
• Taking ownership of client deliverables, timelines and professional quality

Candidate Profile

Essential:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
• 2–5 years of practical experience in CA practice after qualification
• Strong practical exposure to GST, Income Tax, Audit and ROC Compliance
• Good understanding of taxation and regulatory compliances
• Strong client communication and relationship-management skills
• Ability to independently handle assignments and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Excel and commonly used accounting/taxation software
