Hemanshu Shah & Co. in Ahmedabad seeks a senior Chartered Accountant to join our expanding team. The role requires at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in a CA firm, with proven expertise in taxation, audits, and client servicing.

You will manage end-to-end tax filings, audits, ROC compliance, and advisory support for a diverse client base across India. The position is full-time with standard working hours and a focus on professional integrity and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in a CA firm.
• Strong working knowledge of Income Tax Act, GST laws, and Corporate Compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or other accounting software.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and filing of ITRs for firms, companies, and individuals.
• Handling income tax assessments, notices, and compliance.
• Managing GST filings, reconciliations, and GST audit support.
• Conduction of statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.
• Drafting audit reports and maintaining audit documentation.
• Ensuring ICAI standards and statutory requirements compliance; ROC filings (AOC-4, MGT-7).

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Chartered Accountant to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a CA firm, with demonstrated expertise in taxation, audit assignments, compliance work, and client servicing. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to manage responsibilities independently and with a high degree of professional integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and filing of ITRs for firms, companies, and individuals
• Handling income tax assessments, notices, and compliance
• Managing GST filings, reconciliations, and GST audit support

Audit & Assurance

• Conducting statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits
• Drafting audit reports and maintaining audit documentation
• Ensuring compliance with ICAI standards and statutory requirements
• ROC filings including AOC-4, MGT-7, and incorporation support
• Ensuring compliance under the Companies Act and LLP Act

Client Relationship Management

• Managing a portfolio of clients and providing advisory support
• Communicating with clients regarding requirements, deadlines, and updates
