Job summary

Shiv Associates in Delhi seeks an experienced audit professional to independently handle statutory audits, tax audits, GST compliance and related tasks. You will manage the end-to-end process from planning to reporting, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and standards.

Responsibilities include preparing audit working papers, financial statements, tax returns for individuals and entities, and assisting with notices and assessments as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in statutory audits of companies and other entities.
• Proficiency in tax audit procedures and filing Form 3CA/3CB/3CD where applicable.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and auditing standards.

Responsibilities

• Statutory Audit: Independently handle statutory audits of companies and entities.
• Tax Audit: Conduct tax audits under Section 44AB and prepare required forms (3CA/3CB, 3CD).
• GST Audit & Compliance: Perform GST reconciliations, annual returns (GSTR-9) and GSTR-9C.
• Income Tax: Prepare income tax returns for individuals, firms, LLPs, and companies; compute taxes.
• Accounting & Finalisation: Review books, perform ledger scrutiny, prepare financial statements and finalise accounts.
• GST & TDS Compliance: Oversee GST and TDS returns, reconciliations and deposits.
• Audit Documentation: Prepare working papers, financial statements and audit reports.
• Tax Notices: Assist in handling notices, assessments, replies and proceedings.

Job description

• Statutory Audit: Independently handle statutory audits of companies and other entities in accordance with applicable laws, accounting standards, and auditing standards.
• Tax Audit: Conduct tax audits under Section 44AB of the Income Tax Act and prepare and file Form 3CA/3CB and Form 3CD.
• GST Audit & Compliance: Handle GST reconciliations, annual returns (GSTR-9), reconciliation statements (GSTR-9C), and other GST-related compliances.
• Income Tax: Handle income tax returns for individuals, firms, LLPs, and companies, along with tax computations and related compliances.
• Accounting & Finalisation: Review books of accounts, perform ledger scrutiny, prepare financial statements, and finalise accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• GST & TDS Compliance: Supervise GST returns, TDS returns, reconciliations, and ensure timely deposit and filing of statutory dues.
• Audit Documentation: Prepare audit working papers, financial statements, audit reports, management letters, and other audit-related documents.
• Tax Notices: Assist in handling income tax and GST notices, assessments, replies, and other departmental proceedings.
