• Strong knowledge of Ind AS, GST, TDS, income tax, and Companies Act provisions.
• Proficient in Tally and Zoho Books; advanced MS Excel skills.
• Experience in startups, fundraising, and investor readiness.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and audit coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting/controllership function including books, close, and statutory filings (GST, TDS, ROC, income tax).
• Own MIS reporting, dashboards, and board-level financial narratives.
• Build and maintain financial models, budgets, and cash-flow forecasts.
• Support fundraising activities, data rooms, cap tables, and investor updates.
• Coordinate with auditors, legal counsel, and investment bankers during transactions.

Role Summary

SecNinjaz Technologies LLP seeks an experienced Chartered Accountant for a dual-mandate role: run the accounting/controllership function (books, compliance, reporting) while also acting as the strategic finance partner for fundraising and investor readiness. It is seen as a hybrid role for a growth-stage startup, as the company scales past Series A/B funding.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & FP&A

• Build and maintain financial models, budgets, and cash-flow forecasts
• Own MIS reporting and board-level financial dashboards
• Track burn rate, runway, and unit economics
• Prepare data rooms, cap tables, and financial narratives for fundraising
• Support due diligence with investors/VCs
• Draft investor updates and pitch-deck financial sections
• Liaise with investment bankers, auditors, and legal counsel during transactions

Accounting & Compliance

• Own books of accounts, monthly/quarterly close, and statutory filings (GST, TDS, ROC, income tax)
• Ensure audit readiness; manage statutory and internal auditors
• Design and enforce internal financial controls and SOPs

Required Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI membership).
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, taxation, and compliance.
• Strong command of Ind AS, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Companies Act provisions.
• Proficiency in Tally / Zoho Books and advanced MS Excel.
• Exp in a Startup
• Exp with Funding and Investors

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the IT, technology, or services sector.
• Exposure to audit coordination, transfer pricing, or internal controls.
• Familiarity with FEMA, international taxation, or ERP-based accounting systems.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and stakeholder communication.
